In some parts of Thailand it is said that by following responsible farming techniques, farmers can “spin ginger into gold”. While the notion certainly has financial connotations, ginger‟s shiny position also stems from its value as an agent of healthy living. (In short, ginger is gold for the wallet, and the health of the person holding the wallet.)
Just what are these health benefits? There are many. For starters, some research has shown that ingesting ginger may drastically lower blood sugars and lower risk of heart disease. What‟s more, ginger is thought to be helpful for easing dyspepsia, chronic indigestion. It works by helping empty the stomach faster, clearing out whatever may be causing the discomfort.

HOT TEA BREWING RECOMMENDATIONS:
Place 1 teaspoon of herbal tea for each 7-9oz/200-260ml of fluid volume in the teapot. Pour the boiling water into the teapot. Cover and let steep for 5-10 minutes according to taste (the longer the steeping time, the better the flavor as more fruit and herb flavor is extracted). Garnish and sweeten to taste & enjoy!
IDEAL BREWING TEMPERATURE: 100º
ICED TEA PREPARATION RECOMMENDATIONS:
Place 2 slightly heaping teaspoons of herbal tea into a teapot for each serving required. Using filtered or freshly drawn cold water, boil and pour 6-7oz/170-200ml per serving over the herbal tea. Cover and let steep for 5-10 minutes. Add hot tea to a 12oz/375ml acrylic glass filled with ice, straining the tea. Garnish and sweeten to taste. A rule of thumb when preparing fresh brewed herb & fruit tea is to increase the strength of hot tea since it will be poured over ice and diluted.
IDEAL BREWING TEMPERATURE: 90º
